The Dayton International Peace Museum is a non-profit, primarily volunteer-run organization and the only brick and mortar peace museum in the United States. Our educational programs and exhibits are non-partisan and feature themes of nonviolent conflict resolution, social justice issues, improving relations and tolerance among diverse populations, and recognizing the value in protecting our natural world and the sentient creatures with which we share our planet. Our programs include a monthly Building Peace series of speakers as well as a book club, a Great Discussions group, quarterly exhibits, a weekly teen program and a guided meditation group, plus an annual children’s summer camp and a Kingian Nonviolence workshop. Most of our programming is free of charge and there is no admission to our museum collection or for the use of our extensive library collection.
