Sleep under the stars, on the water, and feel the river flow as it lulls you to sleep. The City of Troy now offers the only public floating-tent experience in Ohio — or anywhere else in the world (that we know of!). Your tent comes inflated, anchored, and ready to use.
A first of its kind, the Shoal tent is an inflatable, floating raft, designed by enterpreneur Ethan Smith of Smithfly, from Troy.
The floating tents are anchored at Treasure Island Park, 409 N Elm Street, Troy. At this time, They cannot move to another location.
Yes! You can reserve multiple tents and have them placed together.
Restrooms are available onshore at Treasure Island Park! There are not showers at the camp site.
A watercraft (single kayak, two person kayak, or raft) is provided with the tent rental and can be used to transport people and gear to the tent.
Wood is included with a fire pit rental as well as matches and a fire log.
What are the rental times?
Arrival time is expected between 4:00 PM-6:00 PM with an exit from the tents by 10:00 AM the following morning.
