Additionally, MetroParks of Butler County was awarded $3.8 million to close 4.5 miles of remaining trail gaps in Fairfield, Liberty, and Lemon Townships, with construction expected between 2026 and 2030 — meaning Fairfield's trail connections to the rest of the Riverway will only keep improving.
