2026 Great Miami Riverway Smallmouth Bass Fishing Challenge

The Great Miami Riverway Smallmouth Bass Fishing Challenge returns this summer—inviting anglers of all ages to experience one of the Midwest’s best smallmouth fisheries while exploring the Great Miami River.
This month-long, catch-and-release virtual tournament celebrates fishing, river recreation, and the incredible natural resource flowing through the heart of southwest Ohio. Whether you’re a seasoned angler chasing your personal best or bringing the family out for a day on the water, the challenge is designed to be fun, accessible, and easy to join.
Participants can fish anywhere along the Great Miami River during the tournament window and submit catches using the iAngler Tournament app by photographing their fish and recording basic catch information directly from the riverbank or boat.
