The Old Log Post Office on River Street at Fifth Street dates back to 1805. It was commissioned by Thomas Jefferson and is one of the oldest standing post offices in Ohio. It contains artifacts representing that era. It's Ohio's oldest standing post office on the National Register of Historic Places
